Natália Brescancini

Natália Brescancini é artista visual, pesquisadora e educadora. Trabalha principalmente com pintura, desenhos e fotografia. Pesquisa o autorretrato e representações do corpo feminino desde 2008 e hoje, e através do projeto mirar(nos)otras, investiga as linguagens do desenho e pintura. No Coletivo (a)gente e TraMar Coletivo, desenvolve junto a outros artistas intervenções urbanas por meio de processos de criação colaborativos em linguagens integradas.

Na Colaboradora o projeto de Natália prevê que a partir do encontro entre as mulheres do grupo, de reflexões sobre a própria experiência em torno do ver-se e ser vista (em espaços públicos e privados) e do desejo de ocupar o território sejam criadas imagens e intervenções e, quiçá, estas ocupem as ruas da Bacia do Mercado.

Natália Brescancini is a visual artist, researcher, and educator. She works mainly with painting and drawings. She has been researching self-portraits and representations of the female body since 2008 and, through the project mirar(nos)otras,  she investigates the art of action and the media of design and painting as relational mechanisms. At the collectives (a)gente and TraMar Coletivo, she develops urban interventions alongside other artists through collaborative processes that integrate different languages.

At Colaboradora, her project will create images based on the relationships between the women in the group, their reflections on their own experiences of seeing and being seen in public and private spaces, and their desire to occupy spaces. These images will lead to interventions in the streets of Bacia do Mercado [the Market Wharf].
